With a sour milk protein, which is processed in a laboratory in Bremen, she and her team were able to build a sturdy eco-frendly thread, exploiting milk that would be throwed in the trash or down the drain. One of the leading fiber properties is that milk has a silk texture and unlike real silk, may be produced without the use of pesticides.
